Developed and refined over thirty years, OVT1 consists of two modules that guide an Optometrist on how to assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of non-strabismic binocular visual disorders. OVT1 provides the essential foundations for further learning in behavioural and neuro-developmental Optometry.
The two modules are OVT1A - Introduction to Behavioural Optometry which is now live and ready to book, and OVT1B which covers Further Concepts in Behavioural Optometry which will follow shortly.
The courses have been revised and updated for online delivery by Paul Adler FBABO over the past two years. To show our appreciation for his hard work, BABO has created a bursary to fully fund one graduate Optometrist to take the two course modules. If you are interested in promoting, researching or advancing Behavioural Optometry then please consider applying for the Paul Adler Bursary. Applications should be submitted by 15th May.
OVT1A guides you through the process of how to assess, diagnose and manage accomodative, convergence and fusional disorders over a 16 week period.
