OVT 3 - Vision and Learning  3 day course

Ideally suited to optometrists with an interest in learning difficulties and who has some experience of Behavioural Optometry. Prior attendance at OVT1 and OVT2 courses is essential, and attendance for all three days of this course is mandatory. This course brings together previous learning and its application to testing and therapy. The course covers basic theories of learning difficulties, the impact of visual problems on learning, testing, vision therapy and practice management.

Comprehensive course notes and a pen drive with additional information will be provided within the course fee. The fee also includes a copy of the text book ‘Optometric Management of learning related vision disorders’ by Scheiman and Rouse. This book is an essential text for the course and will be a valuable resource for future learning.
